O brasileiro Thomaz Bellucci já chegou em Pequim nesta terça-feira, após 30 horas de viagem de avião,para a disputa dos jogos Olímpicos.Thomaz Bellucci entrou na lista das olimpíadas após uma boa campanha na primeira metade do semestre que o levou à posição 68º no ranking.
Após ser derrotado pelo croata Ivo Karlovic(semifinalista deste torneio) na primeira rodada de Cincinatti por 6-3 e 6-4, Bellucci espera muitas dificuldades na Olimpíada não somente pelos adversários de qualidade mas também pela poluição da cidade:
- De dia, é um calor insuportável, uns 30 graus. A poluição é dez vezes maior do que em São Paulo, forma até uma neblina - disse o tenista.
Thomaz comemora também atualmente o novo patrocínio firmado com o banco Votorantim por dois anos:
“Hoje é um dia muito especial para mim. É o primeiro grande patrocínio da minha carreira”, disse. “Com esse apoio do Banco Votorantim vou poder estruturar ainda mais a minha temporada.
